the global investment management businesses of prudential >>> welcome back.two traders arrested for allegedly manipulating more than 2,000 stocks. eamon javers joins us with the latest. >> the u.s. attorney's office in new jersey says this alleged scheme ran for about three years from december of 2013 to december of 2016. the two men who were arrested today according to the u.s. attorney's office in new jersey were joseph taub. they are alleged to have manipulated about $10 billion worth of securities netting about $26 million in what the government is calling illicit profits from the deal. the way the government says this scheme was set up was the two men allegedly used dozens of different brokerage accounts, some helper accounts and some winner accounts. they traded in the helper accounts and used the momentum of those trades in order to then make profits based on the way they were tipping the trading in those particular stocks. all in all they are saying the two men face a maximum potential penalty of five years in prison. >> any idea what the stocks invol
