big backup now, very slow coming down past the racetrack through berkeley and emeryville.art is a great option for you taking you under the water and past all that backup. if you're south of the bay bridge, you might head towards the san mateo bridge. as expected there's more traffic but an accident southbound 880 at industrial parkway causing backup now. more folks jammed up on the approach to 92 coming out of san leandro. this is a much worse commute than we were expecting to see. again, bart is a great option or the dumbarton bridge. consider highway 84. look at sunol. this is slowing for a different reason. this is about the time every day where we see the southbound side jam up approaching that express lane which opened a month ago, september 20th. on this one-month mark we see the slowdown. a lot of folks roll their eyes when i talk about this project. but folks are saying that it's moving smoother now than it was at the beginning of the project. a couple of weeks to sort things out. dave over at the alameda transportation authority took a look at this and said that
