and i bring that up because also on cnn this morning, senator raphael warnock did pour a little cold water on the concerns around the margins here, but take a listen let me tell you something this morning black men are not going to vote for donald trump in any significant numbers. there'll be some were not a monolith now, look, when we look at some of the polling we've got harris is at 78% among likely black voters, but that's nearly ten points behind what president biden got in 2020 exit polling. >> so how do you navigate this is the campaign. you get the sense that the campaign is concerned about those margins they're, clearly concerned about the margins because since mid september, we've seen story after story proposal after proposal whether she's seen publicly or whether it's an speaking on background, talking about the work that she needs to do to close the enthusiasm gap with african-american men. i mean, senator warnock may be right we will find out after election day. but if you are the vice president and her campaign, you're clearly not going to take any of that for granted.

i want you to listen to what both senator raphael warnock and congressman james clyburn said about this question of black men and black men not being as enthusiastic about her campaign as they have been in the past, about other democratic candidates be significant numbers of a black man showing up for donald trump. we got to talk to everybody because our coalition is broad. but at the end of the day, kamala harris and tim walz are doing the work that every candidate has to do. you got to earn people's votes. yes, i am concerned about black men staying home or voting for trump. black man like everybody else, one to know exactly what i can expect from a harris administration what are you hearing from your sources? yeah, i think that there is concern not just with black men, but the vice president's softer numbers with black voters in general, particularly when you compare them to 2020 year other previous cycles of what democrats were able to get in part because of this idea that i reported on in length, is that a lot of folks did not feel that her campaign put enough infosys or attention

we have two democratic senators in raphael warnock and jon ossoff. and in 2020, joe biden won won the state by 11,779 votes. so i think that merits polling today shows, as we all know, it is a very close race. every vote matters. and as we're breaking records for the early vote, i think george's know how important their vote is, and they're going out and making their voices heard so yesterday, harris said that she does think trump is fascist. this was a sharper message from her on this topic than we've heard before. does something like that motivate young people or do you think that's a message that appeals more to older voters? >> i think that's just the truth. it's not just kamala harris saying it its john kelly who was donald trump's chief of staff truly, i think it's just important that we continue to highlight the terrible leader that donald trump was, and how now if he was to regain the presidency, he would have no guardrails. there will not be people like john on kelly around him to try and control his worst impulses instead, he would be able

you saw governor brian kemp win his reelection by about 53%, but then you saul raphael warnock get to runoff and then win in a runoff against herschel walker. the challenges some of the voters did not come back and some of the voters were uncomfortable with herschel walker. when we look at georgia we do not have party registration. the way i look at it is this is a republican state but you can win if you find the right path. host: when you talk about those demographics and you take a look at the state itself, what portions of the state would you look at saying what is the determining factor of who wins this year? guest: we talk about who will be the swing voters. every voter in georgia will matter, whether in rural georgia where you have a lot of republican voters but a smaller population, and then the large democratic centers like augusta, atlanta, macon, and savannah. those are areas that are strong. then you have the northern suburbs of atlanta you are always watching for. while they lead republican they can vote democratic. my colleague during the 2020 and 2022 election cycles wou
