. ♪ ♪ alliance redwoods and sonoma zip line adventures is a sub program of alliance redwoods. under the same canopy, so to speak. ♪ ♪ people have been setting up tents and camping here since just after world war ii. so about 2010, we realized we had an opportunity to do ecotourism, so we opened our first zip line tour in 2010, and it just took off like a rocket. right now, as we speak, what's going on is outdoor education for public and private schools anywhere from two to four nights and doing outdoor sciences in the majestic redwoods. they're looking at crawdads, and they're doing geology and doing face-painting, and we've got a reptile center, so they're learning through hands-on experiential learning in the outdoors. we just teach kids about different science courses, and we do a lot of cool challenge courses as well on ropes courses like zips, swings and ladders, things like that. we bring kids out here to challenge themselves so that they can grow as individuals. a lot of the teachers say the kids that don't excel in a classroom come out of their shell and shine in this

san mateo, san carlos, redwood shores, redwood city looks like right over skyline.on bay in the san mateo coast. lots of reports drizzle on the santa cruz mountains as well. a lot of moisture coming in. and i think we could get a few brief little showers. still pretty good wind gusts out to travis, almost 30 miles an hour again for this time of year. you just don't see this all the time. i mean, everybody is almost identical temperature usually. there's a big difference here between the coast and inland. not this year, not this june, not this june. as i told you, i said i think this is going to continue well into june. and every indication is that's going to happen to most of the month. now, we will get a little warm up here later this week. but today, a lot of this moisture coming off the sierra, incredible thunderstorms again, chester, quincy, everything was a little bit southwest of susanville, but from redding as well, up towards mount shasta, a lot of thunderstorm activity and some of that moisture will continue to feed in today. as you can see, some of that go
