. >> anne makovec is in redwood city where the man is due in court this morning. anne, how did this happen? >> reporter: he was taken to jail being held on an $11,000 bail. now he is facing charges of trespassing, battery on a police officer and resisting arrest all because of saggy pants. his name is deshon mar man. he was in town to speak at the funeral of his friend high school football star david henderson shot last month. marman was at sfo when a flight attendant asked him to pull up his pants to hide his underwear. he refused here's his mother. >> deshon refused to pull up his pants because he had his bags in his hand. and the lady asked him to pull up his pants and said, i will as soon as i get a free hand. i don't think that was soon enough for her. >> reporter: then the crew ordered everyone off the plane. police say when marman got off, he refused to be put in handcuffs. there was a scuffle and an officer twisted his knee. that's where those extra charges come in. deshon is on a full football scholarship to the university of new mexico so his mom is conc
