. >> that's right rick. double scan live showing our next system that will be affecting us is already moving through the midwest. it's low pressure. it's south of chicago. doesn't have much moisture to work with and what this low pressure will do is move up to the north. so, first it pulls in warmer air and then it pulls down much cooler air. today it's seasonably cool. philadelphia currently 40 degrees. temperatures a little bit warmer to the south across virginia, mid to upper 40's. we pull that in tomorrow. should manage to make it up to about 47 degrees but then tomorrow night and wednesday a cold front will open the door for the coldest air mass of the season. we've got temperatures actually below zero up to the north. that will moderate but it is going to be very harsh especially on wednesday. so, this is what to expect. the winds will really howl tuesday night and wednesday behind that cold front. could have wind gusts up to about 45, 50 miles per hour. afternoon highs mid to late week only in the 30'
