joining us live from jerusalem is john roberts, co-host of america reports. hn, are israelis, any that you have talked to concerned that hamas has had too much time to hide or escape? >> well, i think the concern is that hamas has been able to meticulously hide the hostages and that's the big concern here. some 203 people are being held by hamas and, as far as we know, nobody really knows where they are. now, in terms of hamas' infrastructure and ability to fight every day that israel continues to bomb hamas, it degrades its capabilities. and this really has been an exercise in softening up the battlefield before those troops go in. there is a sense tonight, laura, after what feels like a long pause because the ground operation was believed was going to begin a week ago, that something is about to move. the fact that you have gallant the defense minister was there on the front lines with the troops saying you will soon see the inside of gaza. the fact that benjamin netanyahu was also out with the troops today gives a sense maybe in the hours ahead something ma
