the two victims construction workers from a roslindale scene. a recovery effort is under way at this hour. dan hausle has been following this. he begins our team 7 coverage. dan? >>> well, the recovery effort now stretches into the night behind me you can see some of the equipment lit up by huge banks of light and just beyond that truck, vehicle that just came in here, is a huge new piece of equipment that is vacuuming out debris that came in when the trench flooded. let's show you a view from sky 7 look at that trench out in front of a house, a brownstone here in the south end on dartmouth over near tremont. they were working on it, here for a count every weeks, but suddenly this afternoon a watermain broke and two workers down in that trench, a trench with pipes and wires were caught in the rushing water and caught in the trench and they were left there and that is where they now lie. let's show you some of the them in the trench there first rushed away with the water then back to the scene to try to get their co-workers out from the trench. d

todd: 5 investigates undercovering previous safety issues with atlantic drain services out of roslindale. they were cited for eight different violations earlier this year and fined $20,000 by osha, the occupational safety and health administration. and this isn't the first time atlantic drain services has been in the news. a worker was hurt in march when one of the company's trucks fell on hi without bail. 21-year-old angel mateo faces charges that he kidnapped and raped a 13-year-old girl while she was walking home from school. police say mateo initially denied having sex with anyone and then said it was consensual and that he thought the girl was 18. >> want to say that the victim, although dealing with a very traumatic experience, was crucial in detail and location of the incident. police identify mateo by a gps ankle bracelet which he was ordered to wear after trying to blackmail an ex-girlfriend into sex earlier this year. he is now facing charges in three cases. another woman came forward friday accusing mateo of trying to rape her in may. right now, two incidents are under investi
