cumberland county, salem county we are seeing heavy rain here too. new castle county getting a break with the rain leaving but kent county still seeing heavy rain approaching, also near dover and the line extends into maryland. this whole line will keep swinging into delaware so milford, expect it by 5:11. seafort, 5:16. as we go through the evening, this whole line will continue moving through new jersey and delaware. locally heavy rainfall could cause localized flooding. we will track all this for you. aside from that we are talking about excessive heat. chief meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz is standing by with a look at that. >> that excessive heat warning has been canceled as the line of thunderstorms has brought the rain to knock down the temperatures and knock some of the humidity out of the air, too. it was really warm and humid early in the day and then just became hotter and more humid and we hit 87 degrees at noontime 88 degrees at 1:00 and there we go. 90 degrees at 2:00 just before the storms hit because it was already down to 74

salem county. it's now extending into cumberland county heavier rainfall for bridgeton.e a bit of lightning in lower gloucester county. this storm is pushing into camden county and heading for burlington county as well. the storms are lining up this morning. still some rain coming down for areas north and west. this is the area that saw the heavy rainfall. based on radar estimates, close to 4 inches of rain in berks county and eastern lancaster county. heavy rainfall on honey brook. look at the pottstown area. 2 1/2 inches of rain this morning. storms yesterday, this has already soaked ground an inch and a half in eastern new castle county. more than two inches of rain in salem, gloucester and camden counties. it is still coming down. the rain may taper off but the flood threat will still exist because it will take some time for the rain to come together and find those areas. the chance of storms will be with us through the morning and into the afternoon. 80s today. the storminess will finally die down this evening. by tomorrow we're looking at sunshine, comfortable, too
