thursday, we hear from two companies with red hot stocks and i'm talking about applied materials and salesforce. applied materials makes materials used in semiconductors. i think the better way to put it is why shouldn't the semiconductor rally continue given all these devices that are coming out. as for sales force, it just keeps gaining here and i suspect an excellent quarter may be in the offing. remember the stock does act on good quarters, so don't attempt to trade it. just own it. i have seen it go up and down on the same bit of news. friday we get results from deere. they could say things are loose in forrestry, or that they had no option but to refresh their position. now whatever deere says with incredit lags, i believe stocks go higher again, unless they say they're shutting the company down. next there's foot locker, one of only two stores that has bucked negativity. i think that foot locker continues to work, why? here's some insight, on the kohl's conference call, management pointed out that both underarmor and nike were selling. that bodes well for foot locker, they sell all three
