. >> really excited to be here at the san francisco zoo. my name is london breed and i'm the mayor of the city and county of san francisco. and what a beautiful day to be out here. i am so excited. we know that covid is with us for some time. and as we see a change in the numbers of cases and the number of hospitalizations, and the increase in the amount of testing that we're able to provide, we also realize that it provides an opportunity to begin a reopening process, one that will allow people to get back to work, that will allow people to open up their businesses, and will provide opportunities for parents to have something for their kids to do. today we're at the san francisco zoo. and what's so exciting is that on monday, the san francisco zoo, museums and other locations will be open for business.
