well, moving on, a 56 year old man is dead after a hit and run in san lorenzo. this happened at about nine this morning near the intersection of hesperian boulevard and bachman road. officers say a black 20 and seven ford mustang hit a man crossing the road and then left the scene. that driver was later caught by alameda county sheriff's deputies and booked on charges of felony hit and run and vehicular manslaughter for a public health advisory is now lifted for parts of contra costa county following a refinery fire overnight in martinez. that fire at the marathon refinery raised concerns about possible chemical releases. the county said any potential release could affect people with respiratory illnesses or sensitivity. the areas under the advisory were martinez, pacheco, concord and clyde. one employee was also hurt and airlifted to the hospital. a marathon spokesperson says air monitoring indicated no offsite impact. the company is looking into the cause of that fire. the city of san francisco put on its best face for the apec conference, but there are still
