of most rainy spots currently of the way over to nevado as you're crossing highway. 37 north of san pablo bay really coming down out there right now. you know, that spot is subject to some standing water on the road. so take it slow or don't want to be hydroplaning. as you hit some of those spots where the water has piled up a little bit consistently wet all the way up and down the peninsula as well as east bay shoreline. south bay, you've been dry slotted so far. that's when you start to see the heaviest of rainfall. a pair in the santa cruz mountains kind of fizzles out by the time it reaches you so some spots down there really nearly only seen sprinkles while you head up into the hills and mount hamilton. it's been piling up as far as snowfall goes. little wintry mix down in the santa cruz mountains. but you're fairly consistently just rainy as you're traveling on highway 17 bit of good news there. pretty wet at the coastline as well. highway one is very slick this morning. you're also seeing a mix of rain and snow there across the east bay. i say snow because mount diablo is and snow

this is on interstate 80 eastbound near the san pablo road off ramp. this is happening and you can see there an overturned vehicle and the freeway is shut down. this all happened around 5 15 this morning. that's when the first call came in. multiple vehicles . we were told we were involved , and it is a fatality on the scene. so at this point if you're headed in and out of this area again, 80 eastbound. the sig alert was called about 5 20 this morning and the latest that we're getting from the chp. is that the again as you can see there from our live picture that all lanes continue to be shut down. there was debris reported. across the road. we know that that vehicle flipped multiple times, according to the chp. one person reported dead. that investigation is ongoing. right now. they still have to clear that scene. so at this point, no estimated time for when that roadway will be reopened, but we'll keep an eye on it and we'll keep you updated here on mornings onto time now, 703, the national weather service says. these last two days of winter weather.
