we've gotten fair amounts of rain two inches in san rafael, san francisco, an inch and a half. this is a good good winter storm. it wasn't as as massive as last week's, but it was a very good winter storm for rain and snow and for us in terms of how the bay area and california weathered it. you know, we had a couple of days of break before we're getting a couple of days of break starting tomorrow, and so we're able to get the you know things drain off and a lot of problems that we were seeing with that last weather system didn't really occur this time. although we are seeing lots of slips still little mudslides and things as the ground because more saturated some lightning strikes just south of fresno or down by modesto. pardon me and merced lisbon. oh, so that's not unexpected. this is the time of day that you'd expect to see these things start to pop up and then you've got scattered showers on the afternoon commute. it's not a horrible afternoon community. just not great. it's going to get better and better as we go through the next couple of hours and doesn't get better and

if you ask members of san rafael high school varsity cheer squad.s a lot of hard work and it's just crazy. it's a train. it's a rollercoaster. they'll tell you how proud they are of their performance. two weeks ago, we fought really hard to perform that we didn't. the u. s nationals in anaheim in the non tumbling advanced division. it was the best feeling ever was. i didn't think i would be there when you get off the floor when you do the your whole routine, and you hit your stunts and you do your smile and everyone's cheering for you. you hear your name? it's like the feeling you can't describe that with anything like anything else. it's the seventh national title one by one of the cheer squad since 2017, a memorable one for senior is a grijalva. we're really close as a team. we have really good friendships and bonds, and we just really get we really work well together. coach shauna hoque says the team is a reflection of the community, diverse and resilient. a lot of our students do come from the canal area. um and they don't all have the resources

san rafael, san francisco, fairfield and concord as well.ice in san jose, just light rain coming through, and it will stay kind of widespread pretty much the entire morning. if you notice by 9:30, we do get some rain shadowing here. it happens, and then notice by about 1:30, it becomes way more scattered. but on and off again, none the less. once the line of showers passes through, behind that, the winds begin to cause issues, and that's where we start to see gusty conditions ramp up, especially for the santa cruz mountains. this goes into effect starting at 7:00 a.m. 60 plus miles per hour winds could bring the potential for downed trees. rainfall totals, you'll notice the purple color over santa cruz. the model runs are showing a little bit too much rain for parts of the north bay. aside from that, any form of rain at this point, as far as saturate goes can be problematic. we're going to monitor rivers and stream flows, no flood watches or warnings are in effect now. there is a winter storm advisory in place for the sierra. gusty condition
