back to sandra shaw. congratulations, sandra. >> thank you, kurt. i'm excited about it.i really can't wait. meantime we have to talk about this employimuggy air mass thatr the mid-atlantic. yesterday was a very turbulent afternoon. we had a line of not only thunderstorms but radar indicated tornadoes that swept through western maryland then hit the eastern shore. so, definitely turbulent. the area of low pressure that triggered it is out of our direction up to the north over new england this morning. as a result, we are clearing out and seeing a little patchy fog out there. still really the tropical humidity feel but today a little more dry because there won't be the trigger mechanism for showers and storms. 73 downtown now, 71 at b.w.i.-marshall. 82 in ocean city. balmy there. dew points are elevated not like yesterday but upper 60's to 70. so that is firmly in place and it will stay in place most of the week. we will get a brief break saturday, then sunday we will get a little more humid again. looks like 76 in the mountains of western maryland, more sun. isolated show
