man trying to abduct two young children, it's good to have you with us i'm tony perkins >> i'm sarah simmons in for shawn, police have a man in custody they say exposed himself. this happened easter sunday. fox 5 lauren demarco was live in silver spring. >> reporter: one of the people who live here would be targeting children on the playground. along with being charged with decent exposure, he's also charged with attempted child abduction. take a look at his photo. he's 37-year-old jim burugata on lock wood drive at the montgomery white oak apartments. police say he was trying to target children on the playground here. two young boys, ages eight and nine, say he grabbed them by the wrist and tried to drag his apartment. they broke free, ran home and told one of their fathers, that man came out to the playground to try to see what had happened. a 13-year-old girl told him, i know exactly who you're talking about. that man was just here and exposed himself to me and some of the other children. she pointed out where he lived. they called police and police came and made the arrest. i talked with
