it happened wednesday near a taco bell on solano avenue. investigators now identify the man killed as 29-year-old ever ramon martinez. police say two officers opened fire on martinez when he repeatedly refused orders to stop during a very dangerous high-speed chase. at one point they say he almost crashed into a r car carrying his father and his children. it's still not clear if martinez was armed. >>> reputed oakland gang member lamar fox, said it was him, not his friend who shot two innocent bystanders at sweet jimmy's nightclub almost three years ago.
