recently in the budget, the congressional budget approval, $20 million to extend the train from sonoma county always to the -terminal. that last part of it wasn't funded until just recently that means now you have a whole corridor of people driving from marin county sonoma county to san francisco because they don't have that seamless connection. because they would have to do all these multiple transfers. you bring the rail right to the ferry terminal in the ferry to the front door of san francisco. there is a whole generation of transit users who never have to worry about highway congestion. sometimes the best you can make are in connections rather than new extensions of systems. >> to sound like a broken record. in answer to some of the questions raised by commissioner woo ho in terms of interim planning, i think would be useful to use geographic information system and to see what is coming down the pike. i think we used to use it for excavation. but i think as we see all the construction coming in these areas and traffic patterns changing, albeit temporarily, but significantly, something te
