new at ten tonight, the sonoma county sheriff's office is hoping someone will recognize this man who was suspected in a stabbing that happened yesterday. investigators say the suspect and victim were having a conversation on sonoma highway near agua caliente road when the suspect pulled a knife, stabbed the victim and then walked away. the victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, a reward of up to $2,500 is being offered, leading to an arrest in this case. oakland police are asking for the community's help to identify a suspect in a deadly hit and run. this crash happened friday june 16th at foothill boulevard in vicksburg avenue. police say 58 year old santa maya was in the crosswalk when she was hit by a driver and a newer black mercedes benz that left the scene. may later died from her injuries. police released these photos of the car and a person wanted in connection with the collision. they say the license plate may have been removed. a $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest . new information tonight into what led up to vallejo

happening today, sonoma county supervisors is expected to make a final vote on a new budget. the board is working with a $2.2 million spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year. but the supervisor must decide how to spend more than $46 million on allocated funds. sonoma county is dealing with less money coming in through property taxes and higher interest rates, impacting borrowing costs. firefighters are gaining control of the scott fire in northern just under 100 acres of burned in yuba county. the fire is now 20% contained and it stopped spreading. evacuation orders have been lifted. the fire started yesterday afternoon in the loma rica area where hundreds were forced to evacuate. about 100 excuse me, 475 buildings were threatened. well, rescue crews are looking for victims who may be trapped by a tornado. debris in the town of perry tonight, texas. reports say three people were killed and many others injured. perry is a small city in the state's panhandle, about eight miles south of the texas oklahoma state line. time now is 807. and we do have a pretty decent commute out

county authorities say this happened just after 2:00, early wednesday morning. they say a man called 911 asking for medical help at a home on park tree lane in sonoma valley when sonomanty sheriff's deputies arrived, they found a man bound, beaten and stabbed numerous times. parts of that house had been ransacked and cash, along with two guns, had been stolen. the victims were taken to the hospital. the sheriff's office says it is still investing. new details tonight about a body found in a creek in the oakland hills near the zoo. police say they're investigating this case as a suspicious death. it was found along golf links road along the back side of the oakland zoo. we get live coverage tonight from ktvu amber lee after hearing from the man who made that discovery, amber. alex the man tells us it appears that the remains have been there a while. neighbors say they're not shocked, entirely shocked by the discovery, but that it is still upsetting. i just saw what looked like a body and called the head of zoo security and he called the police. the man who spoke with us did not want his face shown. he says he was working in a wooded area behind the oakland zoo when he
