starting in the south bay, we check out high temperatures. up to 70 today in san jose. now that the rain is starting to move out, we will get some clearing and also some warmer air. up to 77 in concord today. and danville reaching also 77 degrees. keeping it cool for half moon bay and daly city reaching 59 degrees. san francisco and the embarcadero, up to 64 degrees for a high. up to 74 today in sonoma. checking out those temperatures that will be feeling much nicer compared to the way we started this week. so looking at what's happening now, still some showers across the region. as we head to the south bay heading out the door in san jose, hearing the rain right there along 101. it will be soggy heading out the door. as we go down 101, it's lining right up with the highway and seeing the rain for morgan hill and on into san jose. this is the last little batch of rain moving through. for the rest of the bay area, it is starting to clear out. going through the forecast today, expect mostly sunny skies. and then by tomorrow, i'm watching some of the showers, possibly some

bay are looking at san jose definitely cloudy skies and you've been looking at rain down in the south bay to out towards mountie although some of the heaviest of rain in the bay area seen just east of 6.80 right now definitely shrouding the mountain and some of our heaviest of showers he actually see the showers on satellite radar right now that's a yellow and dark green that you're seeing out in the east bay. also some dark green just west of the city of san francisco going to be moving that direction. a dry slot right now through mountain view on up through areas like woodside so catching a break driving up to 81 oh one in these areas, but if you're heading south to san jose expect light showers down there light to moderate showers up the peninsula east bay like a pointed out some of her heaviest of rainfall just east of 6.80. if you're traveling east of concord on over to antioch you're going to be running into some heavier stuff also just east of san ramon danville out towards livermore some heavier rainfall right now. this is where we're going to be seeing rainfall in just a few minu

quite a sight if you were driving around the east bay or south bay. we have a lot of instability over the central valley, some of that spilling into the bay area. we take you to another view of the south bay where we are watching the sky for any kind of activity. and you can see the cloud cover is widespread across counsdownt. we have the storm system we've been telling you about all week long sitting over the west. big counterclockwise circulation is pushing in this moisture and firing off thunderstorms through the sierra and the central valley. we're seeing a little bit of that move over here towards the bay area. let's get you a closer view, and you can see it's been contained to the eastern half of the bay area. it's been beautiful, lots of sunshine. but if you've been looking off toward mt. hamilton, it's been going strong. a half inch of rainfall there. and there's a chance a few of these showers could make it to morgan hill. i'm not seeing anything severe. but still watch out for maybe a couple sprinkles. also over to the tri valley, showers pos
