still have some in delaware and patchy and light compared to what we saw yesterday. so it's going to be a while before we totally dry out in southern parts of our area. you can see the dry area in western pennsylvania that is slowly pushing eastward. it's going to take a while. the amounts of rain over the weekend were really focused on delaware and south jersey as we have been predicting for many days now. this is the radar estimates and of course these brighter colors, the reds indicating where the heavier rain is, we had radar estimates of four to five inches in parts of kent county. and also in cumberland county and new jersey, 3.7 and parts of burlington county, too, 1 to 2 inches around the philadelphia area. right now we're seeing a northwest flow that's trying to dry us out but not real quickly. it's 40 degrees in reading and 42 in philadelphia and 44 in dover. and we do have wind of course and 21 degrees colder in dover right now than it was this time yesterday. 11 degrees colder in philadelphia. 16 degrees colder in vineland. and the wind, sustained at 10 to 15 miles an hour and it's gusting over 20. and we're still above

it is ice to the south and central and southern delaware and snow, where it's just a little bit colder in new castle county. this is the greatest concern for the potential of icing. you can see the first snowflakes over cumberland and salem counties. to the north new castle counties seeing some very light snow just to the south of wilmington. you may get a layer of snow before the ice moves in. that will actually help the situation out. ice on top of snow is not as bad as ice on bare ground. this peng arink area, that's th potential for ice. that's at 7:00 this morning. and this computer model shows the warm air pushing into delaware and south jersey by 80 this morning, but still an area of icing going on. we could dry out at 10:30. and then as we go into the afternoon hours that's just rain for wilmington, philadelphia, and trenton any ice and snow will wash away. that's at noontime, and eventually that rain makes its way to reading and lehigh valley. but with rain on the ground, we may look at very heavy snow to shovel, so you want to get to it before the rain arrives in lehigh valle
