where the complex of the storms over southern maryland is out there.his is the remanence of what was that tornado warning. the tornado dropping just around there the potomac. then we did not report that there after. good news. still numerous thunderstorms going down that way. nothing severe. showers and a couple of embedded thunderstorms still off the west of washington. let's go back to the forecast. as we see it, we could have a couple of last storms, even through tonight. but after then, it's all just about the light rain that will be ending. we'll get some sunshine to come back to the forecast as soon as tomorrow midday afternoon. but the northwest winds, they are really picking up. and that's going to usher in the cooler air. once we get passed it the next couple of days with the leftover cool air. right back into the 70s. you think that you'd be wanting summer to come back in full force. it will feel like it is summer this weekend. not only will it be warm like that, but it will be humid, unfortunately too. you see the low temperatures, 60 to 62.

down in southern maryland, no influence of the bay now. enough of an off-shore wind keeping temperatures there on the mild side at 63. live look at doppler radar. no problems. we had a cold front come through about an hour or two ago didn't notice a whole lot of change to the weather, did bring clouds in. they have diminished. lots of warm air situated over the eastern u.s. and even behind the cold front, temperatures really don't drop off. over the past 12, 24 hours, we had a decent amount of clouds come through, now a few scattered clouds as that front is crossing the viewing area. behind it, not much of a change in the air mass. it will continue to eat up more as we head into tuesday and wednesday. if you are a fan of summer-like weather, you will enjoy this forecast coming up. high pressure situated off the east coast continuing to dominate our weather through today and tomorrow. a little weak disturbance will try to come through the jet stream monday night bringing clouds. future cast shows a few showers, possibly in the mountains. mo
