we do see them in the southwest. phoenix had a chopper up, and we were watching it. moves very slow, glacial in fact. here are the temperatures for today. cooler than yesterday. 99 antioch, it was hot, but better than yesterday. we had fires in petaluma. looking at the bay bridge now. the lights on the bridge are working well. what you don't see is a lot of fog. we've got it shooting across market street. up in the marina district. that fog will be around tomorrow morning. it's still a narrow, thin, marine layer. but it will really thicken up, which tells you, as it thickens up, it gets cooler. the fire danger will lesson, and the air quality will get better. talking about the air quality, due to the smoke from those fires. the winds are blowing 17 miles per hour at fairfield. that's a good indication right there that things have changed around too. that's kind of your sea breeze direction. that southwest, westerly wind. those other stations are variable. that's a straight up 17 miles an hour sustained wind in fairfield. the pattern shifted instead of the wind arrows

2015 will be like, it's trending to be warmer than average across much of the desert southwest including the phoenix metro. the rest of the country i think will be warmer except for the pocket in the southeast. i think they will be on par for where they should be for this time of year. a live look at the abc15 desert doppler, clear except for mexico where you see the green, a ways from phoenix and will progress to the north throughout the day and probably at dinner time, that's when tell lose the steam as it heads to the north and it will weaken to a tropical storm by tomorrow morning as it heads north. but it will churn up winds and rain from the gulf. keep that in mind. we think it will bring us a little bit of rain right now. our models are suggesting a .25" in the phoenix metro but that could change depending on how it tracks. 104, today's high, partly cloudy conditions especially later on as the hurricane comes and it weakens, but keep in mind we could see more clouds and can't rule out a chance of a pop-up shower. today, breezy and the rain chances will get better, but again, the bulk of the r

we are at 86 in phoenix. 56 in flagstaff. 68 in payson. 60 in press get. our winds coming in from the south southwest. we have a strong breeze up through flagstaff. things are nice and calm here in the valley. here is the weather outlook. we will start off with clear skies first thing in the morning. then we will increase our cloud afternoon. also going to have gusty winds as well with wind gusts in the valley around 20. other parts of the state could see when guests -- wind gusts as strong as 50. future cast, at 6:00 tomorrow morning, just the clouds, not having to send a kid that with their umbrellas and raincoats. we're keeping this showers into monday afternoon. by the time we head overnight in the early morning hours of tuesday, that's when you see more activity, very scattered to the east. been heading into tuesday afternoon and night, more moisture coming our way. this is when the valley's gets the best chance to see off and on scattered activity through tuesday evening, lingering in the wednesday as well. 88 degrees are expected high for tomorrow with these winds 78 for president. 98 expected

phoenix metro. now we are still tracking a few showers. mainly in the southwest valley. not seeing that widespread rain. we are tracking to see those light showers. moving to it will continue to move north right to loop 101 in the west valley. as we look to the south. we have some areas of light rainfall in maricopa. some more showers down tobuckeye . the widespread rain has pushed to the north. spots like pine top, lake side. this line of rain producing pockets of rainfall. a lot of lightning too. these are cloud-to-ground lightning strikes. up north heading into the -- we have more storms. they are tracking from southwest to northeast. moving up into top, lake side. you will get that line of thunderstorms your way. it is moving north into your neighborhoods. if it holds together holbrook that line going your way. some scattered showers north central arizona. the most widespread storms will start to fill in across northern arizona and start to quiet down slight chance of stray showers in the valley. once we get to this late afternoon and evening we will have to watch th

phoenix and hallison. we're standing southwest of 83rd and buckeye -- lower buckeye road. it started at a house party according to neighbors. there was teenage house party going on. we do know from police that shots were actually fired at this house party. if you're looking at our video you can see the yellow shell casings were. there were a half a dozen to 10 shots fired that we can see markings of. the victims were actually driven from here to a quick trip which is in the tallison juris dickson. that makes this -- pull son police on this investigation because they're having to handle what happened at the quick trip. so we do know that somebody, one of these teens who showed up with two of for them. now, both of those teens were rushed to the hospital. again, we have a male, 15-year old that was shot in the back of the neck. we have a female that according to phoenix fire was actually shot in the face. we understand is hit around her nose region. we're told they're going to survive. they're in stable condition, but they're, very serious. in phoenix, mary resendez, abc15 n
