we've seen a bit of a southwest wind moving across the region.esponsible for much of our temperatures going up. now going to see a uniform shift in the temperatures to the west and northwest. and that's going to keep us a little cooler. should keep us cooler going into tomorrow. we have 51 now in oakland. 64 in elkton. 65 on the shore. the nation's capital at 68 this evening. 68 in the state capital. 68 on kent island and we see rain from 61 in westminster, up to 66 over toward columbia. the winds have been coming in from the southwest, now shifting to the northwest. all the result of a front moving through the region. one portion of that has already moved through. that front has pushed now south of the region. it will stall out down around southern virginia and allow another ripple of low pressure to move in from the tennessee valley. now, that low pressure is going to ride along that front. and we're going to be close enough that we'll see potentially some widely scattered showers, just after midnight, and into the early hours of tomorrow. when
