considering just how serious this crash was harris stanton is extremely lucky.caped with a broken wrist an bruised ankle. he says that the crash happened in an instant and because the vehicle that he was in did not have a back window, he could not see the tractor-trailer barreling towards them. now kevin roper the driver of the tractor-trailer is due in court. it's been reported he hadn't slept in more than we are hours and in an exclusive interview stanton said that one minute the group of friends was cracking jokes and the next minute they were being thrown around inside that limo bus. he said the impact of the crash made him feel like he was in a metal box that was being crushed around him. stanton said comedian tracy morgan who remains hospitalized was unconscious after the limo bus was hit. >> it happened so fast and when it stopped, tracy was on top of me and i didn't see anyone else. just metal and i could see stars from outside 'cause the top was ripped opened and i heard a driver cursing out the other driver and i was just saying help me, get me out of

john stanton said there aren't enough beds. who is taking care of the children?clear we are talking about two different issues. one is at the border the children are being held in detention centers where they are really created for adults. and so those detention centers in which the conditions are quite difficult for the children, very low temperatures in terms of the regularity of receiving meals and getting access to receiving telephones. it is limited. dhs has 72 hours to get the children out of their custody and into health and human services custody where the children are placed in shelters where they have access to a wider array of services such as medical, education, they have counseling. and the shelters, for example, where we work have access to lawyers who can provide the children with a know your rights presentation where we explain what their rights are in the process and where we provide legal screenings to hopefully identify children who have been trafficked into the united states or who have been persecuted or tortured in their home countries. >> j

you talked about it near stanton. that went away. these chasers were to the east of that tornado, thinking they were in very good shape. all of a sudden, we saw the new tornado signature on the radar. the storm regenerated a tornado about four miles east of that first one. separated from the first one and moved there. this one you're looking at right now is a very large max i tornado. we're looking at ef-3, ef-4 damage that moved through that town. we saw debris in the sky from that town. it is now north of u.s. 275. and the one that you're looking at, you just can't see it to the right if they pan to the right a little bit, that one would be moving towards wisner, nebraska right along highway 275. you need to be taking cover now. this is open country, but these are major tornadoes on the ground. wind speeds in excess right now, wolf, i'm going to going 175 to 200 miles per hour. paralleling themselves. >> hold on. >> and in northeastern nebraska. >> ben mcmillan is on the phone driving this vehicle that we're seeing right now. ben,

central that we had a tornado possibly on the ground near stanton, nebraska, which is approximately 10es west of pilger. it was at that time that i did observe a tornado on the ground and made that notification. that particular tornado just skirted the city limits of the city of stanton, nebraska, it did substantial damage to five to seven farm residents and we found one residents where we had five team, including three mall children trapped in the wreckage and we were in the process of extricating them when we were informed of a dual tornado threat in the pilger area. shortly after that we were notified of a direct hit with what we are now being told by national weather service of a probable f4 type tornado. >> oh, my goodness. did you actually put your eyes, lay eyes on the twin tornado that his hit your town, pilger? >> no, i did not see that one. i saw the first tornado. i did not see the twin other than i have seen obviously the newscasts today. >> how would you describe the clean up and cove recovery effot that lies ahead for the people of your town, of your county, of pilger? >>
