terri was a homemaker and student. on october 19th, 1996, rodney left to spend the night with his son in fair bluff about 15 miles away. terri's mother, bernice, came over to the house that night for dinner. >> i was there when she took brittany and josh upstairs to bed. as they were going upstairs to bed the last words i heard josh say was, "i love you." because he was just learning to talk. >> after bernice left, terri plugged in a space heater to heat the home since it was the first cold night of fall. she fell asleep on the sofa in the living room around midnight. at 4:00 a.m., terri was awakened by screams from her children. the house was on fire. the thick smoke and flames made it impossible to reach the children. the only thing terri could do was call the fire department. >> 911. >> the police arrived first, and an officer also tried to rescue the children. he, too, was unsuccessful. to clear the way, terri moved the space heater at the bottom of the stairs. by the time firemen arrived, the upstairs was almost e

isis do you degree with that. >> i certainly don't doubt what general terry said. i would say, however, they have to halt the spread of isis in people's minds. it's convinced people around the world, but particularly in the region they're unstoppable and they're everywhere. i think the confidence of building a team's going to be the critical part. >> do you think we're approaching this in the correct way, i'm obviously at a military base should the military be doing what it's doing? >> well, i think there are certainly military activities that are necessary. but in the more broad that term you need to build a coalition that's creditable and legitimate across the region. until we sense that then i think isis is going to have a ability of going against fragmented set of forces. >> you have heard the numbers, you have heard how many believe, how many fighters they believe have been killed you were in charge in iraq if they find the leader of isis will that be a blow to this type of organization? >> destroying an iconic leader undermines confidence. you can't play a nu

cit focuses on that and as terry mentioned before. we have a great faculty and they are all volunteers which is great because they have their heart in it because they don't get compensated. they come in. we have a 40-hour class from monday through thursday, a 10-hour class. it's a little long. but officers are used to working out their shifts. that's the main reason we have it like that because they are used to do it. we have it at the boat house in lake merced which is a very appealing scenery. we have the lake and we have to create that type of atmosphere for the training. they are dealing with mental health issues and approaches like suicide. we have a section that deals with suicide. they are here to talk about that. we deal with the elderly. we see how it's like to walk with a cane so they can see how it's to walk that way and we have pills to sort out pills as an older person. we have them tie their shoes, button their shirts to see how hard it is. we assimilate glaucoma. we have a lab that allows to bring some machines and assi

i want to go back to something terry said. that these clinics don't just provide abortions. they provide a lot of other health services. breast and cervical cancer screenings diabetes and high pressure screenings wellness services family planning services. >> these services are absolutely vital. think about these clinics. this is where a lot of women have their usual source of primary care. if it were not for these clinics, they wouldn't have access to care. these screenings they save lives. many women are alive because they had access to these services. if they suddenly have to drive 300 miles to get access to a mammogram, for example, or cervical cancer screening, they won't do it. as you said they'll either miss time from work, not get paid or many times just get fired. they don't have positions of power in their employment. this is what will happen and we'll see it happen across the country if these restrictions take place the way they've been proposed. >> terry o'neill and linda, thank you both for your time. >> thank you. >>> coming up, jeb bush is responding to those
