it's the southbound that we're talking about. bronx river parkway closed between scarsdale road all the way down to desmond avenue. it's a little more than a mile. it really was a huge crash. a scary scene when those multiple collisions happened. one suv ended up dangling off of the edge of the road. 14 cars in all ended up being involved in this spectacular wreck. believe ice caused them to slide and collide with other drivers. ten people were hurt. minor injuries. a public works spokesman said this s etch of the bronx river parkway southbound and the palmer avenue bridge will be closed until tuesday because today is aenoliday and they need a private contractor to come in and make some fixes to the guardrail, also the palmer avenue bridge. so it won't happen today. it likely will be reopened tomorrow. not everyone has the day off. there are drivers out on the roadway, but it won't be so busy compared to a normal workday. at least that's good. but it is still so icy for those people out there. back to you. >> so dangerous. kat, thank y
