i was in the opposite end of the north bay and didn't feel a thing, but lots of people here in the fremont area did. in fact, i am here at the 7/11 which is over r open all night. they didn't have any damage, but nearby is a hotel and they definitely felt it. i talked with two people from detroit, obviously they don't have those kinds of wake up calls in detroit. they definitely felt it. it was on the -- i was on the website and checking out comments from people and people felt it all over the bay area. castro valley, antioch, san francisco, san jose, it was widespread that people felt the shaking. i had the chance to talk with one person here at the 7:11. he said he felt it, but he is used to it. >> i was up at 2:00. i felt it and recognized it. >> reporter: how did it feel? how long? >> it felt like about five seconds. >> reporter: was it scary at all? >> no, i lived in l.a. so i am used to earthquakes. >> reporter: and, obviously, as i said earlier, not a lot of damage reported. i know bart basically had a delay of 10-15 minutes. it sounds like they are starting to get back on schedule.
