==sam/2shot== a plane - bound for the peninsula - crashed in >>> welcome back. re you head out the door here. >> a plane bound for the peninsula crashed in reno and killed three people onboard that plane. pete is live from the san carlos airport where the small plane was headed. that plane just took off when crashed in a nearby parking lot. >> good morning. we are just hearing back from the medical examiner's office they are notifying the next of kin of the victims. we do know they were leaving reno and that crash took place during a take-off. they were slated to land at the san carlos airport. according to officials with the federal aviation administration, they say this piper cherokee crashed at the airport 6:00 a.m. yesterday. the plane was leaving the west runway when this crash occurred. no one on the ground was injured. several cars were damaged in that airport parking lot. we ran a background check on the plane. it's not registered to anyone at this time. last time it was registered it was out in miami. cause of this crash is unknown. we do know the nation

it looks like it will continue to work its way up the baja peninsula. the entire hurricane here. and all of the warnings both hurricane and tropical storm warnings affecting not only the baja peninsula but also as you can see the coastline there of mainland mexico as this thing is going to make two landfalls. at 3:00 this morning it hit cabo, and by tonight it is going to be making its second landfall. i will walk you through all of it right now with storm tracker 4. we will switch here and talk a bit about where it is expected to go as we bring up the storm track. as you can see it's pretty powerful with 90-mile-per-hour winds currently. it is moving pretty quick, too. 17 miles per hour to the north. watch this thing advance. it makes caked landfall. that's going to bring the possibility of torrential rain and damaging winds and life threatening surf to both baja, the peninsula, and to the mainland coast as well. we are look at the potential for flash flooding. five to ten inches of rain could come out with this system. it's fast moving so it is not goi
