developments out of iraq just within the past hour, militants have taken over a town there, nbc 10's tracy davidson is tracking these developments. tra tracy? >> the militants we've learned in the last hour or so have captured this town, near the syrian border. it's the northwestern border of iraq. the mayor confirms it. the town has about 200,000 people. this is the third town or city to fall in iraq in the last week. meantime, the u.s. state department has announced that security personnel at the u.s. embassy in baghdad will be increased amid the current instability in iraq, about 150 marines have been sent to help with that. some staff has been moved out of the embassy. most remain. the embassy has about 5,000 personnel. then there are these disturbing pictures. new photos posted online appear to show mass execution of iraqi soldiers by that militant group there. we're not showing the most graphic pictures but here are some of them. the photos were taking by a group. independent news cannot independently verify their authentici authenticity. we'll continue to monitor developments. live in the di

i'm tracy davidson. et day in store. let's get the details from first alert meteorologist bill henley. >> we're tracking showers, we've seen some thunderstorm activity. the thunderstorms have died down but the wet weather is still with us. especially in the north and western suburbs. berks county and lehigh county and chester into delaware we're seeing raindrops. even south jersey. salem county and extreme western cumberland county getting raindrops. showers, that will keep temperatures in the lower 70s, then breaks of sunshine, topping out at 78 degrees. >> there is an accident in delaware. jillian mele is watching that. >> it's happening on 95 the southbound side near route 3. the exit for marsh road. watch for lane restrictions. we have this serious accident in hamilton township. route 50 is closed at south county boulevard. take south cologne or elmwood. an accident at the base of the ben franklin bridge eastbound side near the toll plaza. >> more than three-hour standoff ended peacefully. it started
