: yeah, officials here, we are expected to hear what troy whitaker's job status will be. hillsborough county fire officials will tell us or speak to us later on today about his position after he was arrested over the weekend on aggravated manslaughter charges. now pinellas county deputies say whitaker was taking his children to school friday morning. whitaker dropped off his 5-year- investigators say i he was supposed to then drop off his 23-month-old son lawson today care. detectives say he returned home around 8:30 friday morning with the child still strapped in the the car seat. whitaker made a trip to the grocery store around 3:30 that afternoon. and deputies say it wasn't until he returned from the store that he noticed the infant and began to give cpr. >> it's not an intentional act. i'm not saying it is. but what i'm saying, you got you can't leave in the car for eight hours. >> reporter: again, whitaker facing aggravated manslaughter charges. he is out on bond. a $50,000 bond. paul-- >> jamel lanee' reporting live for us from hillsborough county. thank you so much
