unfortunately we're starting with a nasty morning in tulsa, oklahoma. you picked up rain at the international airport in just the last hour. this radar picture, all the little white dots are active lightning strikes so we've got really strong storms from muskogee, heading to the arkansas border and back to tulsa, big storms popped up. they're not move fast. that's going to be a troublesome area all summer long. from jonesville to jackson tennessee, a line of storms will push to the south and finally they're weaker storms but still a light area of them, light rain coming out of tennessee through north georgia. atlanta it looks for now stuff should miss you to the north. hopefully we'll keep you on the dry side. it with us not a nice weekend in maine, new hampshire, and vermont. that continues into this week. cool air all week long in the northeast with afternoon showers especially and then we'll continue hot down here in the southwest. it will be about 97 today in dallas. that's a look at your national forecast. now here's a look outside your window. >>>
