we were waiting for video to be released surrounding the death of tyre nichols. that's not happening right now. why? >> the attorney for one of the now former officers went into court today and at the last minute filed a motion, an order asking the judge to prevent the city from releasing what was to be some 20 yours, 40 different clips of video in the aftermath. some of the before, some of the interaction between officers and audio commutes talking and other information that they were set to release today and even tom tomorrow, like administrative information about the hearing and other documents we were expecting today. now all of a sudden, the defense attorney for one of the officers went into court and the judge agreed with him. we don't know why. we weren't there. we only found out about this at the last minute when pretty much the hearing was over. we're trying to figure out why this judge decided to rule in mr. ballen favor. we'll see. we'll continue to obviously continue to fight to get that. but i think the city made every effort. they were hoping to get

significant also, and there is video of actually tyre's mother talking to officer hemphill. he is the officer who used his taser. she comes to the scene where the car is stopped and she has a conversation with this officer. so that video we do expect to see and he explains sort of what happened to her and how tyre had this super strength and her response to that is going to be certainly interesting and something that we are going to want to hear about and see. there is going to be some video perhaps what ultimately led up to this stop of tyre nichols and then just the officers talking. there are still a lot more that needs to come out about this, and i new the memphis police department now that their internal investigation -- they investigated 13 officers. that's a lot of police officers. of course, seven now being fired. others being suspended. so there is still a lot we need to learn and a lot more information and documents that they say are going to come out and we are going to learn more perhaps about exactly everything that is sort of led up to this and what the officer

if we look at what happened with tyree nichols in memphis, well, the police chief there has actuallyto look at their practices and to come up with recommendations. and we know that the department ofjustice is more widely looking at some of these specialised police units. remember, five of the police officers who beat and killed tyree nichols, who are now facing murder charges, second degree murder charges, they were part of a specialised unit that was actually supposed to reduce crime in these areas. but what many citizens there said actuallyjust led to an intimidating the community. so i think we are now seeing some of these reforms having to be put in place. i think for, you know, social justice advocates, they're going to continue pushing for those reforms and trying to hold these police departments to account to see if anything really changes. to the netherlands now, and the dutch government says it'll restrict the export of certain types of equipment used to make microchips, or semiconductors, on the grounds of national and international security. it comes after pressure from th
