good evening everyone, i'm ukee washington. >> i'm jessica dean the exact path of the storm is stillnclear but meteorologist justin drabick in for kate tonight you've been getting new information into the wet sent. >> that's right. jessica this storm upgrade to do major hurricane category three. winds at 115 miles per hour. but still little bit early in the game a lot going on in the upper atmosphere to get an exact track on this storm. now here we are just east of the bahamas. you can see good looking hurricane on satellite imagery. the progression again still to the south and west but eventually forecast to move to the north over the next 48 hours or so but back hole, things are drying out now. so that's good news there. at least catch break from the rain a couple of showers earlier. but the front stays stalled offshore and another wave of said dee rain will start to move northward impact our region especially again tomorrow night and certainly on friday. that's not associated with joaquin. here's what we know. expected to intensify a little bit more over the next 24 hours. toe pot
