one of the dog parks in union city. roz plater joins us from in fremont with the look at the city ponce. roz. >> reporter: raj both of the parks were temporarily shut down thoroughly cleaned and sand advertised and sterilized to try to prevent an outbreak. the bacteria outpeak is element epto can leave the dog weak and in pain. one owner tells us the recovery can take months. this is 1-year-old freda. her owner didn't want to talk on camera but he shot the video of her getting the iv treatment over the past few months. he says she is treated for the bacteriai bacteriaial infection. and she believes she may have been gotten infected at the dog park. the park told us back in september three owners reported dogs getting sick. >> it's difficult to validate where the dogs are contracting it. all we can confirm is that every day that has been reported to us are frequent users of our dog park here in fremont. >> reporter: as a precaution he says workers briefly shut down the rk park and did an extra sterilization using bleach
