thank you all for having us here today. we're are grateful to be part of this conversation as this is very important for us. in our shelter we run a weekly support group for our children and an issue that we talk about is healthy relationships and setting boundaries with children and for children to know how to set boundaries for themselves and also respect boundaries and for us why it's so important to be part of the curriculum in school is because we want to ensure that all the skills and the different things we're teaching the children and the youth are supported outside of the shelter so when they're using the skills with us they use them with classmates who also have the language and the capacity to do the same thing with them and for us it's important to be a trauma informed approach because we work with children who have experienced domestic violence, who experience sexual assault, who have experienced physical violence so that's one reason this issue is very important to us and i have my colleague with me who will b
