bob redell joins us live in gilroy. police are trying to track do you know the suspects. >> reporter: good morning. police are hoping you might recognize the images of these two men who they believe are connected to this heartbreaking crime that started here at this gilroy walmart. the image shows two men, both appear in their 20s, possibly 30s. the shorter has a goatee, the taller one a goatee or beard. they call them persons of interest in the theft of this suv we're showing you. this happened about a week and a half ago in this walmart parking lot. in the back seat was keiko, a 15-year-old dog whose owner and best friend michael mcvey loved dearly. mcvey walked out and realized his vehicle was stolen he and his friends began looking for his dog, thinking that the thieves had no interest in the dog, that they would set her free somewhere. that search went on for four days. until police called and told mcvey they had found his suv in a parking lot walmart in san jose, and in the back seat was keiko dead from thirst and

janine de la vega joins us live with the details of the arrest and why they are so significant. good afternoon, janine. >> reporter: good afternoon, tori. the fbi says at 6:00 a.m., a task force made up of its agents as well as local law enforcement agencies arrested two gang members from the sir san koes pride gang which is a subset of the serrano gang. they say this is significant because these were the last two men they needed to arrest and they were involved with drugs and weapons. the two arrested were just arraigned at the federal courthouse about an hour ago. fbi agents say this operation is related to the 20 suspected gang members taken into custody in january. they say the san jose tattoo shop was being used as a center for selling methamphetamine. the fbi violent gang task force has been investigated the gang for several years and working to break it apart. they were helped by the san jose police department. >> we believe we got all of them. it's a huge win for law enforcement. again, what we thought was a -- a known gang affiliate is now -- is now all behind bars. >>

we turn to john blaxland, senior fellow from the national university joining us live from canber canberra, australia. thanks for being with us. can you give us a sense of where they are in the search now? it's day two of these planes flying overhead, day two of that norwegian cruise ship being in that vicinity. and now, you know, it's five days after the satellites first took those images, so where do we stand today? >> well, you're absolutely right, it's five days after that image. so, the debris that was identified in those photographs is now quite at a different location. it's moved on. it's moved on to a different spot entirely, probably several hundred miles further to the east. and the problem is now, okay, there's been a request for additional imagery, but the imagery may not necessarily identify very much at all. the problem is that even though we've got good conditions at the moment, the photos that we saw from five days ago had an item that was just below the surface of the water. we don't know today if it's a meter or 3 feet further down or if it's still visible at all. so, it'

janine de la vega just spoke to investigators and joins us live. good afternoon, janine. >> reporter: good afternoon, tori. this is a blow to the police department. a spokeswoman told me that this officer's arrest is in no way a reflection of the other officers here who are here to serve the public. more ral is already low in the -- morale is already low in the department and officers are upset and disappointed that one of their fellow officers is accused of this. now, here is a booking photo of 38-year-old jeffrey graves taken last night when he turned himself in. he's a six-year veteran of the department and worked the overnight patrol shift when the alleged sexual assault took place last september. the district attorney's office says graves had responded to a disturbance between a husband and a wife who had been drinking. the woman who was a former hotel maid told officers she wanted to stay at the hotel so graves grove her there while another officer followed. prosecutors say she went to sleep but 15 minutes later, there was a knock on the door

and bob beher joining us live.e, the ntsb is saying they have a pretty good feeling about these latest satellite images. do we have any clue as to why there's such confidence? >> well, the ntsb based on their data they've been able to narrow the search down to that southern part of the indian ocean. so they feel very confident about that search area. and the reason why they got to that search area is because they considered the currents, they also considered how fast the plane may have been going. they considered multiple pieces of data including radar in order to come up with that southern area in the indian ocean where they should be searching. now, today we're talking about those satellite images, possibly the debris from the plane. now, the images are being called more credible. so much so that they've diverted the search area to this specific place where they believe these images are from. why so credible? after all we remember those chinese satellite images, they turned out to be a false alarm. but authoritie

abc news reporter katie marzullo joins us live. boat helped pull the woman from the water. not a hero, just someone who keeps an eye out for something suspicious. in this case, that something suspicious was a 45-year-old woman from san diego clinging to a deflated dinghy. coast guard said she left from monterey wharf. coast guard said the woman went out in the motorized inflatable boat to watch sunset tuesday. at some point the boat started to lose air, the motor fell off and it got very foggy, not to mention dark and cold. she apparently shot off a few flares, but no one saw them. some 15 hours later, they spotted her, called 911, tried to get her out of the water themselves. they say it was hard. she was soaking wet. >> like i said, from the looks of her skin, she still had some red in her and stuff, so she must have been swimming. >> ultimately the coast guard got her out of the water and monterey firefighters brought her to shore. this was just before can the 9:30. rescuers say the lifejacket she was wearing likely saved her li
