to see thin clouds over us. orrin maryland, still in the clear. clouds get thicker to the west. storm center itself in the ozarks. that track takes us to the southwe see an increase in clouds. rain showers developing later this afternoon. wind will add moisture to the approaching storm. 45 to 50 the high this afternoon. insta-weather futurecast shows the first of the moisture getting close to us in the early afternoon and then building in during the afternoon and evening hours. by 10:00 or so, we see this line up to the north-northwest of us close to the pennsylvania line where snow begins to mix in. that is probably the highest chance that something will collect on the ground. by morning most, how much snow? an inch or so perhaps. a little less than that to the west of the city toward the pennsylvania line and higher elevations to the west. this is a significant snow maker. there will be moisture. 40 on sunday. starting out as some spotty rain. could be snow mixing in. especially to our northwest overnight tonight. the storm pulling out in the morning. we hope for sun breaks in the afternoon. dry weather early next week. by the end of next week

a warm front is just to the south of us trying to get through here. the cold front will come racing through and sweep everything off the mid-atlantic coast and we will get some clearing in the area tomorrow. by friday evening in the next form will be rapidly approaching and that could bring in some unsettled weather. the sun breaks to the cloud cover by tomorrow afternoon and friday should start with some sunshine in the area. it will be a little chilly in the morning in the cloud in the afternoon with some rain moving into the picture friday night into saturday. it could be another round of thunderstorms and parts of a midlantic on saturday. tomorrow we are in between systems. one is moving off the coast and the other is just approaching. it will be mild, 57-65. a small craft advisory on the .abay more rain arriving on friday. a round here, that system on friday into saturday could bring a thunderstorm as well, but it is strong cold front. 60 saturday, forties' on sunday. highs in the 30's on monday with the chance for some snow showers monday night.

most of the snow will be south of us. we have a trace toof snow in our forecast around baltimore. more to the south. 38 to 42 from a high. i am guessing it will mostly be in the 30's. a little rain may be next in when it starts up. all of the advisories and warnings are to the west. small craft advisories will be out tomorrow. the wind gusted to 20 from the northeast. the forecast shows the apart in moisture. the clouds cut off in pennsylvania. the storm passes close to us in the evening. this model keeps the moisture south of the baltimore area. other models bring it farther north. we are probably going to get something out of it. presidents' day looks dry. as far as how much we get, one computer model gives us a little bit of snow, and inch or so. other models have it further south. that is the dilemma. most of the snow will be south. we could see a trace, up to two inches. presidents' day looks dry. we will be back in the 50's for much of next week. we will see other days next week when we could see rain or a little snow. >> from the sus
