vacaville morning. >>> developing news from the north bay explosions woke up a neighborhood in vacaville at about 3 a.m. >> and when they looked outside, they found their neighbor's home on fire. sean bennett is live. they helped rescue a person sleeping inside? >> reporter: the new information is there were two people asleep inside the home. they had no idea flames were shooting from the roof. we are focusing the attention on the firefighters doing, as well. at this point we are dealing with two people asleep inside. the neighbors banged on the front doors, back doors and windows and as soon as they got out of the home the roof collapsed. so at this point now, the firefighters are saying that this could be an accidental fire. if it wasn't for the neighbors it could have been two fatalities inside the home in vacaville. so the neighbors saved the day. the fire probably started in the back of the home. the flames were 20 feet over the roof when they arrived on scene. cell phone video from one of the neighbors who showed it, it was impressive like a scene out every universal studios. it wa

but yeah, this accident is northbound 505 near midway in vacaville. they are working to clear it now. we also have some issues in oakland. here's a live look at 880. this is near the oakland coliseum and 66. they had run a quick traffic break to clear an accident, a big rig, another car and at last check they still have a couple of lanes blocked in that southbound direction. so we are seeing some delays heading towards oakland airport. just a heads up if you are rushing to get to an early- morning flight. and over at the bay bridge toll plaza, no delay getting into san francisco. they should clear some overnight roadwork on the upper deck. lower deck roadwork caused an issue for one of my coworkers this morning. eastbound 80 we had several lanes blocked in the lower deck from center anchorage towards the metering lights. they have picked up that a little bit ahead of schedule. so mass transit so far all on time for bart. muni, caltrain and ace. speaking of coworkers who got stuck in traffic. lawrence karnow is there at the alameda county fair and read

vacaville 30 degrees temperature difference this time of year not that much. it can be as much as 50 degrees. concord tonight down to 57. san rafael 53. mountain view 56. and redwood city 54 degrees. here's the setup in the skies aboves. similar to what we had today, but a subtle change as low pressure moves out higher pressure moves in making its closer pass to us. we'll get a north wind tomorrow keeping the low cloud cover away, sunshine once again from start to finish. if you didn't enjoy it today, please get outside and enjoy full sunshine coming up tomorrow because by the weekends we'll see so changes especially if you live near the bay or at the coast. morning cloud cover will be back. temperatures will drop of several degrees and we'll have a stronger onshore flow with a new area of low pressure enhancing that push from the chilly pacific ocean giving us more cloud cover and temperatures falling. all in all staying close to normal. every afternoon for the next week will be sunny and mild. the mornings will be cloudy starting saturday morning. not tomorr

other high temperatures today vacaville 96. travis air force base by fairfield 93. danville topped out at 92. and 90 for lakeport. what a change this is. we're talking temperatures going way up with temperatures shooting up to almost 80 degrees. we're way above normal temperature-wise and on the way up even higher. it's all about this ridge of high pressure. it not only is close to us keeping us dry but now it's getting close enough an strong enough it's going to start drawing out that east wind that offshore wind. this happens when high pressure builds just to our north and west. it sends the ridgeway up into british columbia north of seattle. and then we get the northeast wind. we grab a wind off the land as opposed to the chilly pacific. we are going to be hot. we'll see 90s inland on saturday and almost on sunday. and temperatures will be well above normal even at the coastline where you'll be in the mid-70s tomorrow. next week, same ridge of high pressure but it moves. it moves down to the south. now we'll get a light-to- moderate onshore flow the cooler pacifi
