it happened around 2:30 this afternoon in vallejo. solano county sheriff's deputies were pursuing this black mercedes when the driver hit several cars and hit a man in a crosswalk. vallejo officers then joined the chase, and the suspect was eventually arrested. the 56-year-old man hit in the crosswalk is now battling life-threatening injuries. the 31-year-old vallejo man behind the wheel was arrested, now faces several felony charges. a gun was also recovered from his car. >>> we are learning new details about a deadly shooting in san pablo this afternoon. police say a 47-year-old woman is dead, a 22-year-old man is injured, and the gunman remains at large. the shooting happened just after 3:00 north of contra costa college. the woman killed was pronounced dead in the driveway of a home. detectives say they are trying to figure out what led up to the shooting and whether the victims were targeted. a suspect description has not been released. >>> taking a live look out oversan francisco, look at that. gorgeous clear skies. by this time

if you are commuting westbound out of vallejo toward morin county, 101, you will need extra time. the traffic is slow. 101 both directions at the area there delays. extra volume there heading to the golden gate bridge this morning. northbound not seeing any trouble this is morning. in fact, southbound to 580 about a ten minute ride. just past there. once you get down to the golden gate bridge the traffic is okay into san francisco. and now to 101 near sfo, 380 connector, the traffic is moving okay. if you have an early flight to catch at sfo, shouldn't have any troubles getting there. traffic is moving nicely in both directions. and traffic is getting what little busy on the san fats bridge. an pro3 minutes there, 17 minutes from 880 to 101. and out of hayward to foster city. once you are on 101 no troubles but getting to the san mateo bridge is a little difficult. and now here is emily. >>> it will be a clear and beautiful start to the workweek, although a little chilly. the temperatures are dipping down to the 30s. right now 35 degrees in santa rosa, 34 in napa. a little warmer

east winds in vallejo at 7. north winds in fairfield at 7. and the north bay area because the winds are still calm, you may actually see that haze today. air quality for the north bay unhealthy for sensitive groups for today and tomorrow. moderate for the rest of us. and the haze is actually because it's wintertime. we are not seeing much mixing of the air so a lot of it has to do with fireplaces, wood- burning stoves. so these are the rules. when there's a "spare the air" alert, no wood, fire logs, pallets in your fireplaces and using wood stoves or any other burning device is illegal for today and tomorrow. and then when that alert is lifted, you still have to burn clean fuel. so you still cannot burn garbage or leaves or things like that. as far as the winds are concerned, southern california of course they are still getting the santa ana winds because of this high pressure ridge. what's also happening this is interesting, we may get more of the smoke because the way this high pressure is just hanging right on the state, we'll start to see
