i'm victor blackwell live inmy. a bit of a delay there.democratic debate tonight, two days before the primary. and the ever changing face of this year's election is our lead story today. the republican candidates waking up to a potential shake up in the race for the white house. ted cruz may be stealing donald trump's thunder, winning two out of saturday's four contests and inching his delegate count closer to the front runner. cruz won in kansas and maine. but trump still leads in the delegate count. 385 by cnn's estimate. cruz now narrowing that gap. he's at 298. hets turn to the democrats now. hillary clinton brought in a solid win over bernie sanders in louisiana. but came in behind her rival in nebraska and kansas. clinton still has a strong lead in the delegate count. we've got our team of correspondents covering the story but we're going to begin with mark preston. i want to start about ted cruz. his surge seems to be the story this morning and it is not just that he won two of the contests but his wins were thumpings. the trump win

let's get back to my colleague, victor blackwell, live in flint, michigan. ead of the big cnn debate there to flight, victor? >> it's been five months since flint, michigan were back to the flint's watt are supply bp but the people here can't drink water from their faucets. they began replacing the first pipes that brought in the contaminated water. recently tests show that homes have water with twice the amount of lead that the epa figures is toxic. with those highest at risk, with women and children there. mental issues potentially brut on by lead poisoning. cnn sara sidner talked to one flint resident. >> reporter: aaron stinson thought he was healthy by drinking a lot of water. >> i try to drink as much water as possible. >> reporter: but his attempt at being healthy may have ended up hurting him. he started feeling fatigued and pain. >> muscle pains, cramps in my joints. at times, dizziness. >> reporter: he decided to ask for a blood test. the doctor called with results. >> he said i'm concerned with the lead levels in your blood. they are kind of high.
