if you're waking up in santa rosa, give yourself plenty of time. 're starting to notice a little spotty activity developing from san francisco up through sacramento. the bulk of the moisture will reach your neck of the woods in the next 20, 30 minutes. the whole thing clears out of here before noon today. you can see san francisco getting pretty steady rain so watch out for slick conditions in that area. this is what's happening, this front isn't going to make its way all the way through the bay area. this is a cold front, it's a late spring storm. as you can see right here, high pressure is drying it out so this moisture is colliding with this big dry ridge of high pressure. as it does so, it's just evaporating so we're not going to see a lot of this moisture even make its way into the south bay or the east bay, but the cold air will. this is what we're looking at as it comes to your hour by hour forecast. at 11:00 a.m., that's all that's left between redwood city and san francisco. by noon we are clear but it will still be mostly cloudy. by 4:00 p
