our scott budman has been following the showers in walnut creek for us today. scott, how's it been out there? well, hey, audrey, it's been consistently wet. the rain coming down right now as it has for most of the morning and the afternoon. and from the looks of it into the evening, it's been fairly consistently average. so nothing all that bad. in fact, at several times during the day, the rain actually stopped and people could walk around without umbrellas. but they've kept their umbrellas up for most of the day and briefly at about 1230 here in downtown walnut creek for a couple of streets near where we are right now, the power actually went out. and so traffic lights were out and some restaurants lost power briefly for about an hour, hour and a half before it went back on. now all the lights in the area are on, and once again we have seen consistent rain so far this evening. okay, consistent rain so far. pretty average out there in walnut creek. i see a number of people out there walking behind you. i know you got to speak with people braving the rain out t
