wayne freedman is live on highway 121 where repairs have already been made. quick work of it there, wayne? >> they did. this morning, there was a big buckle, 18 inches out of the concrete on highway 121. it's been smoothed out. if we look in the background, the quake fault was miles below the surface, but you have all the cracks and fissures that go along the surface. the crack comes through here, comings by my feet and continues for several hundred yards into this vineyard. now at 4:00, i tried something and got a lot of flack from twitter followers about doing this, but i'm going to do it again because my bosses wants me to do this. this hole is one of the cracks, it's very deep. i'm just going to do this really fast. i have a 36-inch arm. i cannot touch the bottom of that fishure. almost stuck. this is a microphone cable. we don't have a yard stick. but that's pulled out from the bottom. we think this reaches the bottom. that's how deep it was, perhaps even deeper and this goes on for hundreds of yards. so this is just a superficial crack. the real one was
