what we have when we have a good state sponsored attack it's like wayne gretzky on a power play. for the billions we spend on defense, we're not raising the cost of offense in this domain. i'm not sure there's a deterrent in cyberspace that's equal for us right now. >> and also lou, there's a point in time when we have to make a stand, and do the right thing, and these continue use acts of terrorism, we're not facing them. we're not looking at the right forms of attribution into cyberspace. i am almost positive there's a cyberwar going on that nobody is talking about. our guys are good. there was a report released saying malware are so advanced they can't be wiped off machines, that was in a classified report. the administration talking about transparency, all the legislation about information sharing getting companies to talk to us and expose cyberthreats. the government needs to trust the public, and expose some of the successes we might have had in cyberspace we're not seeing the transparency right now. i'm sure we're doing the right thing but it's not being talked about. lou:
