allegheny counties, western pennsylvania and down into west virginia and skyline drive will have chilly air. of course there's no real danger to baltimore from this but folks traveling west, make sure you have a heavy coat in the car because it will be right chilly out there by early tomorrow morning. our satellite picture throughout the day, we saw those few little light sprinkles making their way through the region. the clouds continue with us but through the overnight period a lot of the clouds will dissipate giving us a mostly clear sky during the early morning hours. when you get the coolest temperatures. that means whatever heat we got during the day today will radiate back out into space. you can see the clouds over top of our region with the cooler temperatures but down to the south, warmer air will start coming here. not tomorrow but will start friday and continue through the weekend and into the first part of next week but in the meantime we still got a chance for light sprinkle making its way through the region now. maryland's most powerful doppler radar, around the baltimore area no precipitation but there's that little line

police investigate yet another case of animal abuse in south west baltimore. this time it happened in the 2600 block of wilkins avenue yesterday. officers say witnesses saw several boys holding a kitten by the tail and throwing it. witness grabbed the animal away from the kids and got help for the animal. >>> so she brought the kitten in to us and we determined that a kitten had a jaw injury so we sent it out to a vet hospital for treatment. >> now the kitten will be undergoing surgery. it's expected to fully recover. mean time police are offering a 1,000 dollar reward for information which leads to an arrest. >>> pasadena woman and son face several charges at this hour after nearly 2 dozen dogs are found neglected in a home in pasadena t.janet taylor and son jeffrey both face 42 counts of animal cruelty. both face jail time and fines. animals being treated currently. once healthy enough they will be put up for adoption. >>> baltimore city police officer accused of sexual assault involving a 13-year-old relative pleads guilty in court today. keith live at city
