but the suspect was set free. 6 days after oakland muralist antonio ramos was killed by a robber, the murder weapon was recovered in the 3000 block of westtreet in oakland. that's according to the chief of the oakland housing police department. he says his officers responded after housing residents complained that some men who didn't live there were hanging out in front. according to the oakland housing authority police chief, when the officers arrived here, they found a bmw with no license plates, they talked to the driver, it turned out he was a paroled felon. inside his car was a gun. a 9-millimeter glock which later turned out to be the murder weapon. the driver was arrested as a felon in possession of a weapon. housing authority police say marquis holloway was a passenger in the car at the time and admitted the gun was his but he was let go with no charges. this past week he was charged with the murder of the muralist as well as other unrelated robberies and police say he may be charged with more crimes. >> some of the things we are still going to be going as this case progresses through the district attorney's office i having more
