this is westbound 24 as you approach broadway. it looks like two lanes are open but one of those lanes is that exit lane to broadway so only one lane of traffic getting by at this time. this crash involved a couple of cars leaving one car on its roof. major injuries and we are seeing that backup continue to grow westbound 24,stretching past camino pablo. 45 minutes between 680 and 580. we have seen crashes in the backup that are no longer blocking lanes but one was in the caldecott tunnel and the other was just near highway 13. so you can always take highway 13 as an alternate. you don't want to sit in the backup. you can reconnect with telegraph and then connect th c is moving once you get back onto 24 but it will be a big wait until they get those lanes cleared. no time as to when the lanes will be reopened. it's likely to be closed throughout much of the morning commute. we'll continue to track this crash and more coming up. >>> low clouds showing from the "salesforce tower." 55 degrees in san francisco. livermore 55. 50s in th
