there's snow already happening in western maryland and west virginia. it's light and then we can see the scattered showers just around the winchester area and also some along the eastern shore and around baltimore. we'll continue to see this type of activity until that front pushes into the area. we know that it's getting close because we can see the winds are coming from the west- northwest around western maryland. so once we see that wind shift change, we know that that colder air has arrived. so far winds are still coming in from the south and so we've seen the temperatures holding off in the mid 40s. but by 2:00 p.m., the temperatures will begin to drop. so this is what's on the way for us. this cold front packing some really cold air behind it. and it will become breezy and that's the key to getting the windchills going. so by tomorrow, expect it to so as you wake up early tomorrow morning and step out, it will feel like it's about 10 degrees in d.c. and feeling like 4 degrees out in the suburbs and throughout the day just really chilly. heavy jack
