so the southern sierra, the big winners as far as snowfall goes, areas like mount whitney, sequoia, nationalark, really getting some good snowfall. those are the areas that needed it most, too. so that's nice. of course, the grapevine is still in the mix of snowfall. and then you get the rain snow mix right around that line there. that's where it's particularly dangerous. so that's where those closures are occurring. la getting some of that rainfall over the weekend into this morning. now we do dry out for southern california just as we have already for the northern part of the state. but come thursday night, another storm system starts its impact on us. this one really has more of an impact on the north coast, though. and just like last time, the bay area right on the cusp of rainfall potential again this time around. it'll be the north bay that really see some solid rainfall into the weekend. well, areas further south in bay area, you might actually get quite a lot of sunshine over those same days. so you can see the disparity between that over inch and a half of rainfall into the middle o
